This is the first pregancy yoga video I've found that is rigorous enough to keep me in yoga shape - both body and mind - through all 3 trimesters. Even my non-pregnant sister found it challenging enough to do it with me.
It is long, but you can stop whenever you want, of course.
I love the instructor and her routine here so much, that I'm hoping to find other 'regular' yoga videos from her for post-pregnancy. Very peaceful and flowing, without being patronizing or annoying.

If you haven't done yoga before, this will be a tough introduction, but if you pay close attention to her breathing instructions and watch it once through, and are relatively fit, I think it would be good for you too.

Of all the prenatal yoga videos I've seen, this is the best. This video doesn't approach pregnancy as a disability, but as a vital and vibrant stage of life.

I am a yoga instructor, and during my pregnancy I absolutely found this video to be challenging, but the modifications shown made it doable up to my due date (although naturally it became more challenging as my belly expanded). As a doula, I was comforted by the fact that Jennifer Wolfe is also a doula and clearly has extensive knowledge about the pregnant body. I never felt that I needed to be especially cautious of my joints as I have attending regular yoga classes during pregnancy. So many prenatal yoga videos and classes don't offer a challenge for the experienced practitioner; this one is a distinct exception. My favorite part was the modified sun salutation. This is the only video or class I've seen that includes this feature (incuding my own prenatal classes!). Definitely, as a previous reviewer mentioned, use a mat with this video, as there are a lot of transitions to and from your knees.

I love this dvd! I was an avid ashtanga yoga practitioner before my first pregnancy, and I have really missed my practice during pregnancy #1 and now pregnancy #2. This is the first prenatal dvd that brings back the great mind and body benefits of yoga for me. I also have the Shiva Rea video (too slow) and Yoga Journal video with Kristen Eykel (I also like it, but not as much as this one. It is also much easier). My only complaint is that the practice is not broken down into segments on the DVD, and it is long, so it is hard to select part of it to do when you have limited time, like during a toddler's nap time!

You may have years of yoga experience, but if it's limited primarily to the hatha style that's practiced most commonly in the West, musician-instructor Maya Fiennes' Kundalini Yoga to Detox and Destress may prove very surprising--and in very a good way. The London-based Fiennes describes kundalini as both "the mother of all yoga" and "among the easiest styles of yoga to learn" (not to mention a good way to "prepare for the Aquarian Age" that's coming in 2012, for those watching their calendars), a combination of movement, breath, and chanting designed to awaken, energize, and relax. That may all be true, but the contrast to the more familiar hatha style is striking. Where the latter usually concentrates on holding poses, gradually but subtly deepening them over the course of several long breaths, kundalini features almost constant movement; rapid side arm extensions and seated lifts and drops (a bit like jumping up and down on a trampoline from a seated position) are but two examples of the intense but highly enjoyable routines demonstrated here, and although the entire 60-minute program is done seated, on the back, or an all fours--there are no standing poses whatsoever--it's plenty strenuous enough to provide a good workout. Indeed, even pranayama work like the "breath of fire," featuring short, sharp, powerful inhalations and exhalations, is brisk and intense. Fiennes, who also supplied the rhythmic, pulsing music, offers explicit instructions and encouragement without being either frivolous or overly serious--a good balance, just like the practice itself. --Sam Graham
